The God Girl with Her Friends

The God Girl loves her friends effortlessly. She seems to be so kind and loving that no one can hold anything against her. She isn’t demanding or selfish. She truly cares about what her friends has to say and listens well. She gives up the best seat in the theater so her friend can have it. She isn’t easily hurt and angered because love doesn’t mean getting what you want when you want it but means giving what other need. Friendship, to her is about how she can draw others to Jesus and be His hand and feet.

BUT what happens when things get tough and friendship get messy? How does God Girl deal with a critical friend or a jealous friend? And WHAT IF HER FRIENDS IS CHANGING and DRIFTING AWAY? Have confidence and never panics J she doesn’t have to fight, she has to love. She doesn’t demand loyalty of anyone but herself. She remains calm, kind and hopeful. She gives others what they want, not what she wants. She puts Christ first when she choose to love. You might not feel like the most loving friend. You may have messed up in the past, but can’t let that determine your future. Love takes practice. You’re going to make mistake, but that’s okay! Never let failure become a reason to give up. Just trust that love is yours to give..

Love Is An Action, Not A Feeling

How can you be sure? Simple. God commands you to love and since feelings can’t be commanded, love can’t be a feeling. But action can be commanded. So, if God us commanding you to love, He isn’t talking about how you feel about someone but what you do for them.

A Girl Who Knows Love

"Everyone who loves has been born from God and knows God. The Person who doesn't love - doesn't know God, because God is Love" 1 John 4:7-8

God's love is here to stay and that's what gives the God Girl the strength to rise above the mess and to smile. and no matter what you did or how badly you messed up, He wasn't walking out, period. He even wrote it down, like a contract, a guarantee of his faithfulness, right there for all of us to read in the amazing book of Romans 8: 38-39

"I am convinced that NOTHING can ever separate us from God's love which Christ Jesus our Lord shows us. We can't be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces or powers in the world above or in the world below, or by anything else in creation"

and no matter how hard life may be, no matter how bad you messed up, He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). When you can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is faithful and never walks out, you can feel free to love Him.

Love is the highest goal of the God Girl. It's her gift to the Creator. It's her expressions of thanks, praise and honor. it defines her: "Everyone will know that you're my disciples because of your love to each other" (John 13:35) We may face earthly rejection or pain, but the underlying truth about love , however, is that it makes life easier. when you learn to love no matter what the circumstances, you learn to rise above. You gain hope and confidence, and your life is made by the simple fact that you choose love over anger, hate, frustration, or bitterness.

Do You Know A God Girl?

I've been reading a book by Hayley DiMarco, "God Girl"

and I thought it was good to share what i got from this book :)

A God Girl, is a girl connected to God. not a girl who likes God or who is interested in God. A God Girl knows that she must remain attached to the vine, continually get strength and nourishment from it, and never move away from it. (John 15:1-8)

never think that you weren't good enough for God or you might going to hell because you've failed to love Him as deeply as you should. You have had so many miss opportunities, made so many wrong decisions but you're still His favorite girl. don't you realize that once you are saved, you are always saved? God changes lives. THERE'S NO QUESTION. if He hasn't changed yours, it's only because you haven't let Him. trust that you were led here for a reason. trust your purpose and dive into the life of God Girl. You won't be disappointed.

hiduplah bijaksana, manfaatkan setiap kesempatan..
ketika engkau berlomba dengan kesabaran,
ketahuilah bahwa Aku telah menyediakan secara khusus bagimu.
engkau akan sanggup melakukan segala hal yg telah Ku tetap kan bagi mu
karena Aku, Bapa mu akan menguatkan engkau..
dengan setia Aku akan menyelesaikan pekerjaan baik yg telah Ku mulai dalam mu..

You Have Your Own Success

Aku sering melihatmu marah ketika kau melihat orang lain berhasil.. untuk apa kau menginginkan keberhasilan orang lain? bukankah Aku telah menyediakan sukses mu sendiri? kau tidak pernah mengejarnya, jadi kau tidak pernah memilikinya!

mata mu tidak terfokus pada rancangan Ku yang dahsyat atas hidup mu, melainkan tertuju kepada karya Ku yg luar biasa terhadap orang lain.. jadilah seperti air, selalu mengalir melewati semua benda, menembus sisi dan tanpa batas.. jangan pernah di kalahkan oleh keadaan, tapi kalahkan keadaan!
